This post on lists at vernacular typography is worth a look. I love:
1) the handwriting style and the different papers for lists
2) the fact that most all of the lists are never 100% finished
I can definitely relate! Love a list but never cross everything off as I had intended to do.
Perhaps the solution would be shorter lists...like a 1 item list. Pah.
