"Previsualization"

Sometimes, I like to jump right into a project and just get it done without worrying about how it's going to look or the hundreds of ways it could go wrong.  Who am I kidding...this is how I feel about 80% of the time I get/find a new craft project to work on! Reading this article by the amazingly talented, hilarious and just plain real Jasmine Star put into words the way I feel I should really be doing my work.

She describes the way she prepares new poses for her photography clients and the way she will eventually direct them.  She practices a ton and hones in on the successes of each attempt and keeps going in that direction until it's ready to use on real clients.

Though I'm not relating this directly to photography, I hope to begin infusing my work with more purpose, more practice, and, most importantly, more preparation. My own brand of the 3 P's.
