a sampling of the tips (that could apply to anything requiring a good dose of self-discipline):
- start the day right, go through your routine while getting in the mindset to "go to work"
- don't turn on the computer until you're ready to start work
- no quick email checks here and there - designate time to check your email 1-2 times a day
- turn off the interwebs
- don't go back to work once you've finished
- designate certain days for certain work
- be grateful you're working from home and not in a cubicle
