BUSY

Just a glimpse of what I've been working on lately.

There's nothing like a few days off to really spur the creativity!

These are some ceramic industrial-grade restaurant plates my old roommate left behind. They're so big they won't fit in our dishwasher (about 10 inches across) which makes them the perfect serving platter and giant canvas for my artistic whims.

My supplies (which you probably already own half of):

For some of the designs I hand-lettered a font I found online (here: www.losttype.com) or I slapped some tape in the center, penciled the outline and then used the X-ACTO to cut out the letter. I might do a reverse transfer of this method on the next one (so the letters will be white instead of painted as they are in the Starving Artist plate).

Look out for some other projects I've been working on and probably the remaining three plates I've got!
