In which I title this post: Monday is way too far away from Friday

Good morning, campers! It's Monday (insert sad-face here) which means another week of work/school/daily life for us all.  Around these parts, the school year is winding down (insert excitement and overwhelming joy here) and my daydreaming is hitting fever pitch. I mean, really. Why would I want to be inside, torturing my brain into behaving when I could be wasting the day watching television or the clouds and

Yes, please.

I mean, really. Is there even any contestation over this?!

Alas, I still have two weeks until my cakeday (FINALLY) and another week after that for graduation. (How did that happen?!)  So until then, I have a feeling my posts will be largely of the I-want-but-can't-have variety. So feel free to daydream and spend your pretend money along with me!

not your grandma's quilts

These quilts by Carson Converse make me want to become a professional quilter. Right now. Today. The designs are modern, accessible, and just easy on the eyes. The color choices compliment one another and the subtle details transform these from your average quilt to an art quilt. (Or...not your grandma's quilt.)

foxy must have

Large Monty the Fox Lambswool Plush - Made to order
Have I ever mentioned my affinity for foxes?! I was at this pottery festival when I was in high school and there was a potter there with her pet fox. Yes, I said it, a pet fox. Ever since then...I've wanted a pet fox to call my own. At least it's okay in thought. Now, that I've seen this, I know I want a pet lambswool plush fox named Monty. I just wanna give it a big hug.
